Bralni projekti predstavljajo pomemben dejavnik spodbujanja branja.

Abstract

Reading without Borders Project as a Reading Promotion Factor

Reading projects are an important factor in reading promotion. Some of the projects that promote reading are Reading without Borders, Growing up with a Book, Book Night, National Month of Joint Reading, Reading Together, and many others. The Reading without Borders project dates back to 2013, which the European reading promotion organization EU READ declared the European Year of Reading Aloud. The Reading without Borders project is an international Slovenian-Croatian project led by the Slovenian Library Association and the Croatian Library Association. The project is implemented in school libraries. The purpose of the project is to encourage pupils to make a habit of reading every day, with the aim of developing their reading skills and abilities, different types of literacy, critical thinking, and expanding their vocabulary. The final result of the project is the development of the key competencies of lifelong learning.
