Šola je prostor, ki mora vsem učencem nuditi primerne pogoje za razvoj in napredek. Vsi učenci morajo imeti možnost, da se vključujejo in da so vključeni v šolsko delo in življenje. Z različnimi medkulturnimi vsebinami, ki jih vključujemo v pouk, učenci priseljenci predstavljajo svojo kulturo, spoznavajo slovensko in ju med seboj primerjajo. Za učence priseljence je takšno okolje izrednega pomena, saj predstavlja spodbudno okolje, v katerem se počutijo sprejete. Strokovnim delavcem so v pomoč ugotovitve in rešitve, pridobljene v različnih projektih, dokumenti, ki usmerjajo delo z učenci priseljenci, in gradiva za poučevanje jezikov in obravnavo medkulturnih vsebin.

Abstract

Lessons with Immigrant Pupils

School is an environment in which all pupils should be provided with appropriate conditions that enable development and progress. All pupils should have an opportunity to take part and to be included in school work as well as in school life. Through various intercultural contents, which are incorporated in our lessons, immigrant children are able to introduce us to their culture, to get to know the Slovenian culture, and to make comparisons between the two. Such environment is extremely important for immigrant children, as it represents a stimulating atmosphere in which they feel accepted. Educational staff can make use of the findings and solutions acquired through different projects, documents with guidelines for working with immigrant pupils, as well as language teaching material and material for delivering lessons on intercultural contents.
