Povzetek
V letošnjem letu smo se soočili z novim načinom dela, ki nam je bil do sedaj nerealen, neresničen, vendar v danem trenutku edini možen. Spoprijeli smo se s poučevanjem na daljavo. Po podatkih glede stanja in števila obolelih smo od 16. marca 2020 dalje ostali ujeti v primežu, ki ni kazal izhoda. S strahom smo s pomočjo tujih in domačih medijev sprejemali dogajanje, ki nam je vse bolj odtujevalo naš poznani način življenja in vsakdanjega delovanja. Vsi zaposleni v šolah smo začeli iskati nove načine povezovanja in dela, da bi kljub socialni izolaciji lahko nadaljevali s svojim delom. Učitelji smo se dokaj hitro in učinkovito organizirali ter s pomočjo tehnologije in aplikacij, ki so nam omogočale delo preko spleta, na strokoven način začeli podajati vsebine oz. realizirati cilje učnega načrta, ki je bil za delo na daljavo prilagojen poučevanju otrok na nov način. To je bil nov pristop in nov izziv tako za učitelje kot tudi za učence. Naenkrat smo se vsi skupaj znašli v novi neznani situaciji. Poučevanje na daljavo se je izkazalo za garaško in naporno delo tako za učitelje kot tudi za učence ter starše.
Abstract
Distance Teaching – New Challenge for Geographers
This year we were confronted with a new teaching method, which we previously would have considered unrealistic and unreal, but which was the only possible method at that moment. We tackled distance teaching. According to the data on the situation and the number of infected people, after 16 March 2020 we were trapped in a vice from which there was no way out. Fearfully, we followed the events through international and national media; events that increasingly deprived us of our known way of life and of our daily routine. All of us employed at schools began to search for new ways of integration and work, so we could continue our work despite the social isolation. We, teachers, became organized quite quickly and effectively, and began to teach the subject matter in a professional way using technology and applications that enabled us to work online; we began to achieve the curriculum objectives, which had been adapted to teaching children in a new way in the form of distance education. It was a new approach and a new challenge for the teachers and the pupils. Suddenly, all of us were thrust into a new, unknown situation. Distance education has proved to be exhausting and strenuous work for the teachers on the one hand, and for the pupils and parents on the other.
