Prispevek ponuja pogled v preteklost, ko je bilo leteti kot ptica nekaj nepojmljivega. Človek je sicer že od nekdaj stremel k odkrivanju novega, neznanega, zapletenega, poskušal je in izboljševal, a je želel tudi uspeti, preseči svoje moči in uresničiti svoje sanje, čeprav so se marsikateremu posamezniku zdele neuresničljive. Ne samo da se je o teh dogodkih govorilo, pisalo, v 21. stoletju so nastala tudi literarna dela, ki so zelo aktualna med mladimi, med srednješolci. Fantom pomenijo pogled v skrivnostni svet tehnologije, v svet, v katerem človek zna in zmore doseči in preseči svoje sanje. Ali kot bi rekla pisateljica Snežana Brumec, avtorica romana Eden izmed nas, naj bo srednješolskim bralcem Lojze Klemenov oz. njen Knap, kot mu sama pravi, vzor, kako morajo slediti svojim sanjam.
Abstract
Pilots serving their country or how to reveal a glimpse of an interesting past to secondary school students
The article provides an insight into the past when flying like a bird was unimaginable. People have always aspired to discover something new, unknown, complex; they tried and improved, but they also wanted to succeed, to exceed their capabilities, and realize their dreams, even though many thought they were unachievable. Not only were these events talked and writt en about, but in the 21st century, literary works have also been created that are very popular among young people, among secondary school students. To boys they provide a glimpse of the mysterious world of technology, of a world in which people are able to achieve and surpass their dreams. Or, to quote the writer Snežana Brumec, author of the novel Eden izmed nas [One of Us], readers in secondary school should use Lojze Klemenov or her “Miner”, as she calls him, as a role model for how to follow their dreams.
