Močna področja pri učencih s posebnimi potrebami – ozaveščanje in beleženje

Povzetek

V prispevku bomo predstavili sopojavljanje disleksije in motnje pozornosti s hiperaktivnostjo ter kako vplivata na učenkino psihosocialno funkcioniranje. Opredelili bomo samopodobo in močna področja posameznika kot pomemben varovalni dejavnik pri načrtovanju in izvajanju procesa podpore in pomoči. Predstavili bomo mapo uspeha oz. mapo »Zmorem« kot enega izmed možnih načinov ozaveščanja in beleženja močnih področij, ki pripomore h krepitvi realne samopodobe posameznika. V zaključku bomo ocenili uporabnost, prednosti in slabosti uporabe oblikovane strategije pomoči.

Abstract

Strengths in Students with Special Needs – Awareness and Recording

The article presents a co-occurrence of dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and their effect on the student’s psycho-social functioning. We will define a person’s self-image and strengths as an important protective factor in the planning and implementing of the support and assistance process. We will introduce the success folder »I Can Do It« as one of the ways of becoming aware of and recording one’s strengths that can help reinforce a person’s self-image. We will conclude by evaluating the usability, the benefits and the weaknesses of using the developed assistance strategy.
