Lov na knjigo – kako ‘uloviti’ bralca: medpredmetno načrtovanje in povezovanje vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela za dvig števila bralcev

V članku predstavljam dejavnost, s katero smo motivirali mlade bralce na prehodu z razredne na predmetno stopnjo. Zbrali smo učence, ki v prejšnjem letu niso opravili bralne značke, in jim z mentoricami (učiteljicami slovenščine) pripravile zabavne naloge s poudarkom na gibanju v knjižnici in po šoli, iskanju potrebnih informacij in različnih vrst gradiva. Učenci so v dvojicah reševali naloge in tako krepili zavedanje o smiselnosti knjižnice. Poleg dejavnosti so opisani tudi cilji in standardi znanja po UN za slovenščino v osnovni šoli in operativni cilji po UN za knjižnična informacijska znanja.

Abstract

Book Hunt – How to ‘Catch’ a Reader; Cross-Curricular Planning and Integration of Educational Work to Increase the Number of Readers

The article presents an activity that was used to motivate young readers transitioning from the primary to the lower secondary level. We chose pupils who had not earned their reading badges the previous year and together with mentors (Slovenian Language teachers) we prepared fun assignments that focused on moving around the library and the school, looking up information and different types of materials. The pupils paired up to complete the assignments and, through that, increased their awareness of the importance of libraries. In addition to the activities, the article also describes the objectives and target knowledge according to the Primary School Curriculum for Slovenian Language and the operational objectives according to the Library and Information Knowledge Curriculum.
