Lili Novy: Between Light and Darkness: Reflections on the Poet and Her Poems
Every person is destined for light at birth and for darkness in death. Are the birth fairies, and later the Fates, to blame for the course of a person’s life? Or is a person’s destiny shaped more by social conditions, which, alongside natural factors, are also moulded by human actions?
