Povzetek

Hitre spremembe, ki smo jim priča, in spremenjen način delovanja zaradi epidemije vplivajo na dinamiko in potrebe trga dela, izobraževalni sistem in gospodarstvo ter družbo v celoti. Živimo v učeči se družbi, v kateri so v ospredju vseživljenjsko učenje, pridobivanje ključnih kompetenc, sodelovanje in povezovanje z namenom ustvarjanja dodane vrednosti za posameznika, druge in družbo. Informirana odločitev o poklicu v čedalje kompleksnejšem okolju je lahko izziv za učence in dijake, vendar se karierna pot nadaljuje skozi celotno delovno obdobje. Karierna orientacija v šolah je pomemben dejavnik pri odločanju učenca ali dijaka za lastno karierno pot. Karierna pot postaja skokovita, dinamična, agilna in proaktivna. Vloga učitelja se premika proti mentorski in facilitatorski vlogi, pri čemer učitelj vodi proces in ustvarja prostor za raziskovanje ter preizkušanje z namenom informiranega odločanja o poklicu in karierni poti. V ta namen je predstavljen tudi priročnik za šolske strokovne delavce, ki ponuja aktivnosti za karierno orientacijo v okviru pouka.

Abstract

Career Guidance for Professions of the Future

The rapid changes we are witnessing and the changed mode of operation due to the epidemic are affecting the dynamics and needs of the labour market, the education system, the economy, and society at large. We are living in a learning society that focuses on lifelong learning, acquiring the key competencies, cooperation, and integration for the purpose of generating added value for an individual, for others, and for society. Making an informed decision about one’s profession in an increasingly complex environment can pose a challenge for primary and secondary school students, however, their career path will go on throughout their working lives. Career guidance in schools is an important factor in primary or secondary school students deciding on their own career path. Th e career path is becoming exponential, dynamic, agile and proactive. Th e teacher’s role is shifting towards the role of mentor and facilitator, with the teacher leading the process and creating room for researching and testing so that students will make informed decisions about their vocation and career path. For this purpose, I have resented a handbook for professional school staff that suggests career guidance activities for implementation during lessons.
