Kamišibaj na obisku


Izvleček

Vzgojitelji pri vseh področjih kurikuluma za vrtce (gibanje, umetnost, družba, narava, matematika), ne samo pri jeziku, razvijamo bralno pismenost. Kot podporo pri delu, sem uporabila kamišibaj – japonsko papirno gledališče, ki je eden izmed načinov, ki ga uporabljamo za pripovedovanje in prikazovanje zgodb prek preprostih ilustracij. Kot stalno razvijajoča se zmožnost posameznika/posameznice, bralna pismenost vključuje različne gradnike bralne pismenosti. Eden izmed pomembnih gradnikov je motiviranost za branje, ki jo otroci v vrtcu izkazujejo, tako da izražajo željo po poslušanju in s tem, da pozorno poslušajo. Poleg tega po bralna pismenost vključuje razvite bralne veščine, razumevanje prebranega ter pojmovanje branja kot vrednote. Kot taka je temelj vseh drugih pismenosti in je ključna za samouresničevanje posameznika/posameznice ter uspešno (so)delovanje v družbi (povzeto po Kerndl idr., 2022).

Kamishibai Visiting

Reading literacy is developed in all areas of the kindergarten curriculum (movement, art, society, nature, mathematics), not just language. In this case, kamishibai (the Japanese paper theatre) is used to tell and show stories through simple illustrations. As reading literacy is a constantly evolving ability of the individual, it entails several building blocks of reading literacy. One of the most crucial building blocks is motivation to read, which children in kindergarten demonstrate by expressing a desire to listen and by listening attentively. Furthermore, reading literacy involves developing reading skills, comprehension and the concept of reading as a value. As such, it serves as the foundation for all other literacies and is crucial for an individual’s self-fulfilment and successful (co-)functioning in society (adapted from Kerndl et al, 2022).
