Kako postati pravi knjižni detektiv in hkrati tudi samostojni uporabnik knjižnice?

Šolski knjižničarji imamo odgovorno nalogo. V sklopu knjižničnega informacijskega znanja ter pri individualnem delu moramo učence naučiti uporabe knjižnice. Vsi učenci naj bi namreč ob koncu tretjega triletja postali samostojni uporabniki knjižnice, njenega gradiva in informacijskih virov. In kako na zanimiv in neprisiljen način učence motivirati in popeljati na pot samostojnih uporabnikov? Ena od metod poučevanja, ki od učencev zahteva aktivno vlogo, kar pripomore k boljšemu in hitrejšemu pomnjenju učne snovi, je igra. V naši knjižnici tako učencem dvakrat letno pripravimo igro, ki smo jo poimenovali Knjižni detektiv. Naloge v igri so zastavljene tako, da zahtevajo od učencev aktivno vlogo, vodijo jih po vseh oddelkih knjižnice, rešujejo pa jih lahko povsem samostojno.

How to Become a Genuine Book Detective and Simultaneously an Independent Library User?

School librarians have a responsibility. Within the scope of library and information knowledge and in one-on-one work we have to teach pupils how to use the library. At the end of the third triennium, all pupils are to become independent users of the library, of its books and information sources. How to motivate pupils in an interesting and unforced way, and lead them down the path of independent users? One teaching method that requires pupils to take on an active role, which helps them to memorize the learning content better and faster, is play. Twice a year, our library organizes a game for our pupils called Book Detective. The tasks of the game require pupils to take on an active role; they lead them through all the sections of the library and can be solved by the pupils on their own.
