Pri odločanju o izbiri interesnih dejavnosti, ki jih želi ponuditi učencem v osnovni šoli, je učitelj lahko zelo kreativen, pomembno pa je tudi, da izbira med tistimi dejavnostmi, za katere presodi, da bodo učence pritegnile in jih bodo z veseljem obiskovali. Učitelj se mora ob izbiranju le-teh seveda samokritično zavedati tudi pomembnosti stopnje strokovnosti in širine ter kvalitete lastnega znanja za izvedbo dejavnosti. Pomembno je, da učitelj učencem skozi dejavnost omogoči usvajanje novega znanja na kreativen, neprisiljen, drugačen, privlačen, inovativen način. Tako bodo pri dejavnosti uživali tako učenci kot učitelj, vložen trud v pripravo posamezne ure pa bo zagotovo poplačan.

Abstract

Italian as an Extra-Curricular Activity (Impariamo italiano?)

When deciding on the extra-curricular activities to offer pupils in primary school, a teacher can be very creative; the important thing is that he/she chooses among those activities which he/she believes will attract the pupils and which they will gladly attend. When choosing these activities, the teacher must be self-critically aware of the importance of the level of professionalism, and of the breadth and quality of his/her own knowledge for the implementation of activities. It is important that the teacher enables the pupils to assimilate new knowledge through the activity in a creative, natural, different, attractive, and innovative way. Thus the pupils and the teacher will enjoy the activity and the effort invested in preparing an individual lesson will surely pay off.
