Obstaja veliko možnosti za kakovostno sodelovanje med učitelji, šolsko knjižnico ter integriranje v pouk. Približati domačo knjižnico in vlogo knjižničarja učencem, je pomemben vidik v razvoju bralne in kulturne pismenosti. V prispevku je predstavljen primer dobre prakse medpredmetnega sodelovanja med šolsko knjižnico in angleščino v 3. razredu. Učenci se s knjižnico in knjižničarko srečujejo že od vrtca dalje in predstavlja enega izmed pomembnejših dejavnikov in oseb v izobraževanju na poti posameznika. Želijo si drugačnih pristopov pri pouku, saj so željni znanja in želijo si širiti obzorja z ljudmi, ki jih obkrožajo v šoli. Vendar knjižnica ni samo informacijsko središče šole, je srce in dom, ki te vsakodnevno vabi v svoj objem. V njej so poseben vonj, toplina, energija. In to je zaradi knjižničarke Alje. Kdo sploh je in kaj vemo o njej? Skoraj nič. Pri uri angleščine v 3. razredu smo se odločili, da knjižničarko povabimo na intervju, da jo spoznamo, v angleščini z njo spregovorimo in preizkusimo svoje znanje.

Interview with Librarian Alja Bratuša, Polzela Primary School
There are many opportunities for quality collaboration between teachers and the school library, and its integration into lessons. Making the school library and the role of the librarian more appealing to pupils is an important aspect in the development of reading and cultural literacy. The article presents an example of good cross-curricular collaboration between the school library and English class in the 3rd grade. Pupils have been familiar with the library and the librarian since kindergarten; she is one of the most important factors and persons on the educational path of an individual. The pupils would like different approaches in class, as they are thirsty for knowledge and want to broaden their horizons with the people around them. However, the library is not just the information hub of the school; it is the heart and home that is inviting you into its embrace every day. It has a special aroma, warmth, energy. All because of Alja, the librarian. Who is she and what do we know about her? Hardly anything. During English class in the 3rd grade, we decided to invite the librarian for an interview, so we could get to know her, talk with her in English, and put our knowledge to the test.
