Ekosocialno in miroljubno kmetijstvo kot pot hrano k trajnostni pridelavi hrane tudi v Sloveniji

Povzetek

V prispevku so orisani pristopi pridelave hrane, ki precej odstopajo od klasičnega konvencionalnega kmetijstva. Če je v preteklosti veljalo, da je zemlja namenjena samo kmetijstvu, danes vemo, da ima veliko več funkcij in da se mora kmetijstvo prilagajati tako naravnim kot socialnim potrebam ljudi. Vse več ljudi želi del časa preživeti zunaj mest, želijo se oskrbeti z domačo hrano in biti v stiku z domačini, ki hrano pridelujejo. Prav tako se vse več ljudi odloča za prehrano brez mesa, tako zaradi etičnih pogledov kot tudi zdravstvenih težav, zato so v prispevku prikazani novi pristopi kmetovanja, in sicer ekosocialno in miroljubno kmetijstvo. Oba pristopa sta nova priložnost tudi za mlade ter za medgeneracijsko sodelovanje.

Abstract

Eco-social and Peaceful Agriculture as the Path to Sustainable Food Production also in Slovenia

The article outlines food production approaches that considerably differ from the traditional conventional agriculture. While in the past, the main purpose of the land was agriculture, today we know that it has many more functions and that agriculture must conform to the natural and social needs of people. More and more people want to spend a part of their lives outside the city, they want to have access to homegrown food and be in contact with the locals who are growing it, and vegetarian diet is becoming increasingly popular, both for ethical and medical reasons. For these reasons, the article presents new farming approaches: eco-social and peaceful agriculture. Both approaches also offer new opportunities for young people and intergenerational collaboration.
