Branje kot izziv za rešitev detektivske naloge

Sodelovanje knjižničarke z učiteljico matematike je bolj redko, vendar če obstajata volja in ideja, lahko nastane zelo uspešna učna ura. Tako je nastala medpredmetna učna ura Bodimo detektivi, ki je bila izvedena v 6. razredu OŠ. Ura je bila zastavljena problemsko, tako da so bili učenci postavljeni pred detektivsko nalogo, vezano na zapis števil v davnini. Učenci so s pomočjo branja klasičnih informacijskih virov razkrivali neznan znakovni zapis, ki je bil sestavljen iz treh delov. Vsaka skupina je s pomočjo delovnega lista reševala en del te naloge. V želji, da so vsi učenci aktivni, je delo potekalo v heterogenih skupinah, kjer so imeli učenci razdeljene vloge. Neznan znakovni zapis je pomenil močno motivacijo za aktivno delo. Vse skupine so uspešno rešile svoj del naloge, učiteljica in knjižničarka sta ves čas spremljali napredek učencev in pomagali, če so nastopile težave. Cilj je bila uspešno rešena naloga, pri kateri so sodelovali vsi učenci. Na koncu so bili zadovoljni in hkrati presenečeni, saj je bil rezultat njihovega raziskovanja zapis aktualnega datuma.

Abstract

Reading as a Challenge to Solve a Detective Task

Librarians rarely collaborate with Mathematics teachers, however, if they are willing and have an idea, they can create a very successful lesson. Thus, a cross-curricular lesson was created entitled Let’s Be Detectives, which was implemented in the 6th grade of primary school. The lesson was designed as a problem- solving one; the pupils had to tackle a detective task relating to the writing of numbers in antiquity. By reading classical information sources, the pupils were learning about an unknown pictographic script that was made up of three parts. With the help of a worksheet, each group solved one part of the task. In the desire to get all pupils to participate actively, the work was carried out in heterogeneous groups in which the pupils were assigned roles. The unknown pictographic script was a great motivation for active work. All the groups solved their part of the task successfully; the teacher and librarian constantly monitored the pupils’ progress and helped them if they had problems. The goal was a successfully solved task in which all the pupils participated. In the end, they were satisfied and surprised, because the result of their research was the current date.
