Dvojno izjemni dijaki – študije treh primerov

Tri šolske svetovalne delavke iz treh različnih srednjih šol smo se septembra 2020 povezale v razvojni nalogi in začele raziskovati področje dvojno izjemnih učencev in dijakov. Delo je potekalo po naslednjih skupnih korakih: spoznavanje področja dvojno izjemni učenci, seznanitev učiteljskih zborov z lastnostmi dvojno izjemnih učencev, prilagajanje individualiziranih programov z dejavnostmi za razvoj močnih področij in vključevanje načel formativnega spremljanja ter individualno delo z dijaki (dva dijaka in ena dijakinja) v okviru dodatne strokovne pomoči, to je pomoč za premagovanje ovir in primanjkljajev. Pri individualnem delu z dijaki smo sledile njihovim potrebam. Na tej točki je ena svetovalna delavka dodatno pristopila k premagovanju občutkov nemoči pri dijaku, druga k soočanju s perfekcionizmom pri dijakinji in tretja k razvoju izvršilnih funkcij pri dijaku. Osredotočili smo se tudi na razvoj močnih področij, pri čemer so bili uspešni vsi vključeni dijaki.

Abstract

Double Exceptional Students – Three Case Studies

From September 2020 to August 2023, three school counsellors from three different high schools teamed up in a development assignment and began researching the area of double exceptional students. The following steps were followed: researching the area of “double exceptional students”, familiarising teachers’ associations with the characteristics of “double exceptional students”, adapting individualized programs with activities for the development of strong areas and incorporating the principles of formative assessment, and individual work with students (2 male and 1 female student) in the context of additional professional assistance. Through our work with the students, we followed their individual needs. At this point, one counsellor took an additional approach to overcoming the feelings of helplessness, another to cope with perfectionism, and a third to develop executive functions. We also focused on developing strong areas, where all students involved achieved individual success.
