Izvleček
V članku je predstavljen primer dejavnosti medgeneracijskega sodelovanja osnovnošolcev in dijakov srednje šole. Dijaki so se udeležili matematične delavnice, kjer so ustvarjali zvočne zgodbe na temo knjige Številski hudiček in pri tem uporabljali digitalna orodja ter umetno inteligenco. V drugem delu delavnice so se jim pridružili osnovnošolci, s katerimi so raziskovali lastnosti Pascalovega trikotnika in se učili matematične terminologije. Dejavnost je spodbujala razvoj bralne in matematične pismenosti, kritično mišljenje ter izražanje v strokovnem jeziku. Sodelovalno učenje v skupinah je omogočilo poglobljeno razumevanje matematičnih konceptov in razvijanje komunikacijskih veščin. Dijaki so ob zaključku poudarili pomen radovednosti, strpnosti in raziskovanja, ki jih je spodbudilo delo z mlajšimi učenci.
Abstract
Mathematical Investigation of Pascal‘s Triangle Bridges Generations
The article presents an intergenerational collaboration activity involving primary and secondary school students. The latter participated in a mathematics workshop where they created audio stories based on the book The Number Devil, using digital tools and artificial intelligence. In the second part of the workshop, they were joined by primary school students to explore the properties of Pascal‘s triangle and learn mathematical terminology. The activity promoted the development of reading and mathematical literacy, critical thinking, and expression in professional language. Collaborative learning in groups enabled a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and the development of communication skills. At the conclusion, the secondary school students emphasised the importance of curiosity, tolerance, and exploration, which were stimulated by working with younger students.
