Zrcaljenje z zrcali in kalejdoskopi


Izvleček

Učenci si kalejdoskop predstavljajo kot napravo v obliki valja z ogledalci in barvnimi steklenimi drobci, ki pri obračanju ustvarjajo simetrične in pisane oblike. V članku predstavim uporabo zrcal in izdelavo malo drugačnih kalejdoskopov, ki jih uporabljamo predvsem pri pouku matematike v 7. in 8. razredu ter pri izbirnem predmetu matematične delavnice. Izpostavim zrcaljenje z enim zrcalom, zrcaljenje z dvema zrcaloma, izdelavo kalejdoskopov z več zrcali in navedem primere nalog.

Abstract

Reflection Using Mirrors and Kaleidoscopes

Kaleidoscopes, often recognised as cylindrical devices containing mirrors and colourful glass fragments, create vibrant, symmetrical patterns when rotated. This article explores the educational application of mirrors and the creation of slightly different types of kaleidoscopes in the 7th- and 8th-grade mathematics classroom and the elective Mathematics Workshops. It examines reflection using a single mirror, two mirrors, and the construction of multi-mirror kaleidoscopes. Several sample tasks to illustrate practical applications in the classroom are provided.
