Povzetek
Članek predstavlja mednarodni projekt Erasmus+, osredotočen na ustvarjanje vključujočih šolskih okolij, ki presegajo preprosto nameščanje oseb s posebnimi potrebami in so temelj celovite vključenosti v družbeno okolje. V okviru projekta sta bila razvita indeks vključenosti za samoocenjevanje šol in praktični priročnik, ki temelji na globalno priznanih načelih vključevanja. Pristop, ki se opira na delo Tonyja Bootha in Mela Ainscowa, poudarja tri ključne dimenzije: ustvarjanje vključujočih kultur, razvijanje vključujočih politik in izvajanje vključujočih praks. Članek opisuje osem temeljnih načel vključevanja, ki temeljijo na človekovih pravicah, izpostavi vzgojno-izobraževalne, socialne in ekonomske koristi vključujočega izobraževanja za vse subjekte ter obravnava izzive v procesih izvajanja, hkrati pa se zavzema za sistematično preobrazbo izključujočih praks v resnično vključujočo šolo, ki deluje v vključujočem družbenem okolju.
Abstract
Towards an Inclusive School and Society
The paper presents an international Erasmus+ project focused on creating inclusive school environments that aim not only at the placement, but also at the full participation of persons with special educational needs in society. Within the project, two key tools were developed: the index for inclusion for school self evaluation, and a practical handbook based on globally recognised principles of inclusion. The approach, grounded in the work of Tony Booth and Mel Ainscow, highlights three key dimensions: creating inclusive cultures, developing inclusive policies, and implementing inclusive practices. The paper outlines eight core principles of inclusion based on human rights, emphasises the educational, social, and economic benefits of inclusive education for all stakeholders, and discusses the challenges encountered in implementation processes. At the same time, it advocates for the systematic transformation of exclusionary practices into genuinely inclusive schooling within an inclusive social environment.
