Place and date: The conference will be held in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on October 21-22, 2010
Audience: teachers of science and social studies and researchers (350-400 participants expected)
Organizers: The event is organised by The National Education Institute, University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty, Department of Biology, The Biological Society of Slovenia and The Physiological Society of Slovenia.

The language of the conference is Slovenian. Lectures of foreign speakers would be in English and will be simultaneously translated to Slovenian. Simultaneous translation from English to Slovenian and vice versa will be provided throughout the conference.
Researchers from different fields of biology will discuss recent progress in our understanding of structure, function and evolution of organisms.
